Introducing Coco Blue Coffee

Introducing Coco Blue Coffee

We've been keeping a little secret... Let us Introduce Coco Blue Coffee!

Moving into a bigger shop has provided us with an opportunity to combine even more of our favourite things under the one roof. So, finally, we are able to announce the opening of Coco Blue Coffee!

Our vision is to provide you with a welcoming place to experience high quality coffee, beautiful wares and wonderful service. The perfect place to enjoy a coffee in the sunshine with a friend, take a break from the monotonous highway drive and make some progress on your Christmas shopping.

For us, one of the most important details to decide on before opening Coco Blue Coffee was the supplier of our coffee. As long-time lovers of high quality coffee, it was imperative that we found a brand that matched our desire to provide customers with a memorable coffee experience, right from the first sip.

After lengthy research and a trip to Melbourne to experience Julius Meinl first hand, we knew that we had found our match. So, let us tell you a little about Julius Meinl, our chosen coffee supplier.

Not only does Julius Meinl fit our criteria for the perfect coffee, but their rich history and years of expertise (over 150 years in fact) gave us confidence in their product. I’m sure by now you are well aware that we love a brand with a story worth telling and a product worth selling!

Julius Meinl was established in Vienna in 1862, where green coffee beans were sold amongst spices, cocoa and other food products, before revolutionising the coffee roasting industry in 1877.  In 1913, Julius Meinl became the leading coffee roaster of the Austro-Hungarian Empire and since then has continued to evolve and expand. They are currently supplying coffee in 70 countries across the world and we are thrilled to be introducing Julius Meinl to Tasmania!

Coco Blue Coffee will be open tomorrow morning (Tuesday 12th December 2023), with complimentary coffee for our first 100 customers!

From Tuesday onwards, we will be serving coffee and a selection of beautiful baked goods from 7am - 2pm 7 days a week. We can't wait to share this new venture with you, our cherished customers and hope that you enjoy it as much as we have enjoyed preparing it for you!

Celebrating Woolly Fashion and Community Spirit at the 185th Campbell Town Show
The small rural town of Campbell Town came alive with an air of excitement as it hosted its 185th annual show this weekend. This vibrant event brought together locals and visitors from far and wide to celebrate the rich traditions, talents, and community spirit that define our close-knit town. Among the many attractions, the highly anticipated fashion parade, sponsored by the Australian Wool Innovation (AWI), took centre stage. As a proud retailer of high-quality homewares, gifts, and fashion, we are always honoured to be involved in the fashion parade, showcasing a diverse range of clothing for women, men, children, and even our four-legged friends. Beautiful, Beautiful Ceramics

Beautiful, Beautiful Ceramics

We have received an absolutely beautiful delivery from Noss & Co this week. A very special collection of brightly coloured, hand painted ceramic homewares just in time for Mother's Day.

Why we love Noss & Co:

Noss & Co is a fellow Tasmanian business founded by the gorgeous Kirsty in her little farm studio. Kirsty began Noss & Co creating every single piece by hand and has since found (after searching for the perfect match for her business) an international partner studio. The Noss & Co partner studio prioritises environmentally friendly practices and continues to hand paint every piece.

About the collection:

This delivery includes four gorgeous lamps which I'm imagining perched perfectly on a bedside table. A sweet way to add a splash of colour to your bedroom. Besides the gorgeous lamps, we have 10 stunning vases of different designs and sizes. It's nearly impossible to choose a favourite from this collection but the  Cornflower Blue Striped Vase | Medium is coming home with me -  it was love at first sight!

Each piece comes complete with a gorgeous gift box designed by Victorian artist Morgan Jamieson.

If you're still on the search for a gift for mum or a special lady in your life, we think that a Noss & Co piece would make a beautiful present. In addition to these new arrivals, we still have some lucky last made in Tasmania pieces. A Noss & Co soap dish would make a lovely (and affordable) little gift to say 'I love you' - shop the soap dishes here.
